Frequently Asked Questions

Does '20% + 10% off' mean 30% off?

No! This is a common retail trick. A 20% discount on ₹100 brings the price to ₹80. An additional 10% off applies to the ₹80 (which is ₹8), making the final price ₹72. The true total discount is 28%, not 30%.

How do I calculate a discount manually?

To find a 15% discount, multiply the original price by 0.15 to get the savings. Then subtract the savings from the original price. Or simply multiply the original price by 0.85 (100% - 15%).
